कृष्णा घाटी

अंगूठाकार|भारतीय गाय की नस्ल कृष्णा कृष्णा घाटी भारत में पाई जाने वाली एक बोझा ढोने वाली मवेशी की नस्ल है।marl इसकी उत्पत्ति कृष्णा, घाटप्रभा और मालप्रभा नदियों के किनारे बसे इलाक़ों में हुई है। यह एक अपेक्षाकृत नई नस्ल है, जिसे उन्नीसवीं शताब्दी के अंत में कृषि के उद्देश्य से एक जुआ खींचने वाले पशु के रूप में विकसित किया गया था। उपयोग कृष्णा घाटी को भारी बोझा ढोने के काम के लिए पाला गया था, चाहे वह कृषि भूमि की जुताई के लिए हो या फिर कपास और गन्ने जैसी फसलों के परिवहन के लिए। यह उन ज़ेबू नस्लों में से एक थी, जिनका उपयोग अमेरिकी ब्राह्मण जैसी संकर नस्ल के निर्माण में किया गया। संदर्भ Krishna Valley.
