These included five canons regular, namely Honorius II (1124–1130), Innocent II (1130–1143), Lucius II (1144–1145), Adrian IV (1154–1159), and Eugene IV (1431–1447), as well as Gregory VIII (1187), who was also a Premonstratensian. The Order of Saint Augustine was established by Pope Innocent IV in March 1244 and a core value in their rule is to "live together in harmony, being of one mind and one heart on the way to God".Giesen Greg May 8, 2025 Pope Leo XIV is first Augustinian pope.
