बिष्णुपुर के मन्दिरों की सूची

बिष्णुपुर , पश्चिम बंगाल के बांकुड़ा जिले में स्थित एक नगर है। यह नगर टेराकोटा से बने मन्दिरों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है जो स्थानीय स्तर पर उपलब्ध मखरला (लैटराइट) पत्थरों से बने हैं। मल्ल राजा , वैष्णव धर्म के अनुयायी थे। उन्होने १७वीं और १८वीं शताब्दी में यहाँ के प्रसिद्ध मन्दिरों का निर्माण कराया। मन्दिर का नाम देवता छवि तिथि टिका/विश्वास रासमंच राधा कृष्ण (रास उत्सव के समय) 100px100px100px १६०० यह सबसे पुराना ईंट से बना मन्दिर है। राजा बीर हम्बीर द्वारा निर्मित। इस मन्दिर का ऊपरी भाग एक असाधारण विशाल पिरामिड आकार का है। इसके चारो ओर छोटे-छोटे कक्ष जैसे टरेट (बुर्ज) हैं। उस समय बंगाल में इस प्रकार की संरचनाओं का निर्माण प्रायः होता था। जोड़-बाङ्ला मन्दिर केष्टो रे ( कृष्णा ) और गौरंगा 100px100px १६५५ Built by King Raghunath Singha Dev II.
