लेडो रोड

The Ledo Road is shown at far right.thumb|right|200px|Ledo Road and Burma Roadthumb|right|200px|A U.S. Army soldier and a Chinese soldier place the flag of their ally on the front of their jeep just before the first truck convoy in almost three years crossed the China border en route from Ledo, India, to Kunming, China, over the Stilwell road in 1945 लेडो मार्ग , असम के लेडो से होते हुए , चीन के कुनमिंग ( यून्नान ) तक जाने वाला मार्ग है जिसे द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध के समय बनाया गया था। इसका निर्माण इसलिये करना पड़ा क्योंकि बर्मा-मार्ग को जापानियों ने १९४२ में ही काट दिया था अतः चीन के लिये एक वैकल्पिक मार्ग की आवश्यकता थी ताकि पश्चिमी मित्र देश चीन तक सामान की आपूर्ति कर सकें। १९४५ में इसका पुनर्नामकरण किया गया और इसका नाम 'स्टिलवेल मार्ग' कर दिया गया जो अमेरिका के जनरल जोशेफ स्टिलवेल के नाम पर था। श्रेणी:मार्ग श्रेणी:अरुणाचल प्रदेश में सड़कें श्रेणी:असम में सड़कें
