Zamorin of Calicut.jpg कोड़िकोड का सामूतिरि (1495–1500) अपने सिंहासन पर, वेलोसो सालगादो द्वारा 1898 में बनाया चित्र कोड़िकोड मलयालम हिन्दू कोड़िकोड फ़नम ज़ामोरिन (Zamorin), जिसे मलयालम भाषा में सामूतिरि (സാമൂതിരി) कहा जाता है, मध्यकालीन केरल के कोड़िकोड क्षेत्र के हिन्दू नरेश की उपाधि हुआ करती थी। यह संस्कृत के "स्वामी" और "श्री" (मलयालम में "तिरि") को जोड़कर उत्पन्न हुआ शब्द था। अपने चरम पर ज़ामोरिनों का शासन मालाबार तट पर कोल्लम से लेकर कोईलांडी तक विस्तारित था।Varier, M.
