मई 2017 मई 2017 मई 2017 मई 2017 केहरि सिंह मधुकर 28 November 1930 gurha Slathian, Jammu kashmir 24 August 2000 Jammu साहित्यकार भारतीय डोगरी भाषा कविता–संग्रह मैं मेले रा जानू साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित after his graduation from prince of wales college Jammu, he joined radio Jammu as contractual announcer in early 50's but left the job after couple of years seeing disparities in wages. Afterward, he became a freelancer and enriched Dogri poetry. He is known as trendsetter in Dogri poetry and influenced one and all through his poetic skill. He have four collections of Dogri poetry in his credit. After a long gap of ten years he was offered a job in newly formed Jammu kashmir Academy of arts culture and languages as editor Dogri in early 60's. He accepted the job and remain their till 1974 and contributed a lot to enrich Dogri literature. Once again he left the job and become freelancer. He got state Academy award twice for his poetry books. Namian minjaran was his first poetry book. Dola kunn thapeya was second poetry collection. Mein mele ra janu was third poetry collection and padam gokhru was fourth poetry collection. dola kunn thapeya has been translated into Hindi by padma sachdev and the book has been published by sahitya Akademi under classic series.
