cupra çupra
Latin
Etymology
la ine-pro *kwep-
Possibly a borrowing from Osco-Umbrian, from la itc-pro *kupros good, ultimately from la ine-pro *kwep- to smoke, boil, move violently. If that is the case, it shares a root with the verb la cupiō and the god la Cupīdō. See itc-pro *kupjō.
