The state consisting only of Serbia and Montenegro from 1992 to 2003 may be specified as Forbundsrepublikken Jugoslavia (“Federal Republic of Yugoslavia”) or Rest-Jugoslavia (“rump Yugoslavia”).
In 2003, the official name was changed to nb Serbia og Montenegro Serbia and Montenegro. Continued use of Jugoslavia for the state after that date is nonstandard or retrospective.
