Etymology
sh sla-pro *lagati, iterative of sla-pro *ložiti. Completely unrelated to sh làgati to lie, to tell a lie, which derives instead from sla-pro *lъgati (compare ru -лага́ть combining form of ru ложи́ть vs. ru лгать to lie, to tell a lie). Some derivatives of sh -lágati go back to Proto-Slavic, such as sh nalágati, while others were formed later on by analogy.
