harf
Luxembourgish
Etymology
Probably through modern lb de Harfe, from lb goh harfa, from lb gem-pro *harpǭ. The expected form is lb *Haarf; the actual form could perhaps be native (with an exceptional development as in lb werfen), but with regard to the non-everyday character of the word borrowing from German seems more likely. Cognate with nl harp, en harp.
