Etymology
The older spelling is xcl -ուրհի. Probably an xcl ira borrowing, but the exact source is disputed.
According to Godel, it is likely to derive from re-analysis of the loanword xcl թագուրհի թագու(ր)հի queen from ira-pro *tāga-brθr̥yā Latn, the feminine form of xcl թագաւոր king, owing to which the suffix was generalized. An alternative proposal is the derivation from xcl ira und -purhi Latn. It has also been compared with xcl աւրի- in xcl աւրիորդ.
