de en cummerbund, from de inc-hnd ur کمر بند / hi कमरबंद, from de fa-cls کمربند kamarband, derived from fa کمر kamar waist + fa بند band band.
The English -u- (instead of more etymological -a-) is a pronunciation spelling representing Hindi [ɐ]. In German, in turn, this -u- was given a spelling pronunciation, leading to [ʊ] as well as a remotivation as de Kummer sorrow + de Bund waistband. German de Bund is indeed related with fa بند band through ine-pro -.
