Usage notes
The plural is fairly rare, but can be used for “different systems of signage”: de Der Flughafen und der Bahnhof haben völlig unterschiedliche Beschilderungen. The airport and the train station have entirely different systems of signage. Relatedly, it can also mean “signs for different purposes”: de Auf den Packungen sind verschiedenste Beschilderungen. There are all kinds of different signs on the packets.
