Etymology
gmw-cfr gmh gmw-pro
From a northern gmw-cfr goh *iodar, from gmw-cfr gem-pro *eudarą, a byform of gem-pro *ūdarą. Compare gml jeder, ofs jāder. The variants above are all from the ū-form. The eu-form finds its continuation towards the north (Kleverländisch, Bergisch, Sauerländisch), but Ripuarian seems to be the only High German dialect in which it is found.
