Limburgish
Alternative forms
li loeëk Veldeke
li Lauk Louk rhedok
li Luuk Look Loe̩k Lǫǫk rhedok
Etymology
From li gmw-pro *lauk, from li gem-pro *laukaz. Normally Proto-Germanic *au before a non-alveolar consonant would be retained in Limburgish (see li Lauk and li Louk), therefore the monophthong (or centering diphthong) here would indicate outside influence from another li gmw variant.
