Etymology
nb, borrowed from nb grc Ἐγκέλαδος Enkelados, a Giant in Greek mythology. The Ancient Greek name has long been associated with grc κέλαδος noise, din, clamour, and has traditionally been interpreted as referring to a noisy or resounding figure, perhaps with grc ἐν in, within as its first element.
