Usage notes
en Qiqihaer can be considered a misspelling of en Qiqiha'er. In theory, a syllable-dividing mark (隔音符號) should be added before a non-initial syllable beginning with en a, en o or en e. Hence, en Qiqihaer is not allowed since a word made up of en qi, en qi, en ha and en er would be spelled as en Qiqiha'er (cf. Qiqiha'er). In practice, syllable-dividing marks are often added or omitted at will.
