Gothic
Etymology
From got gem-pro *-hw, gem-pro *-uh.

Usage notes
The clitic can occur after the prefix in prefixed verbs; see got 𐌹𐌽𐌿𐌷𐍃𐌰𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌳𐌿𐌽 for example.
After vowels this clitic is reduced to got -𐌷, thus got 𐍃𐌽𐌰𐌿 (from got 𐍃𐌽𐌹𐍅𐌰𐌽) yields got 𐍃𐌽𐌰𐌿𐌷, not *snawuh (despite the u in snau deriving from an underlying w which is visible in the infinitive and other forms).
