German
Etymology
de, apparently from de Arsch Karte arse card. According to a popular urban legend, the origin of this term can be found in soccer, more exactly the red card. Since on black-and-white televisions the yellow and red card could not be distinguished, the yellow card was held in the front pocket, while the referee pulled the red card from his trouser pocket. Since the 1990s.
