Etymology
tr ota كبزه gebze, from earlier ota ككبوزه geğbüze, gekbüze, vulgarized form of tr gkm τὰ Κίβυζα, perhaps a corruption of the original tr grc - name grc Λῐ́βῠσσᾰ. This city was celebrated in antiquity as the place containing the tomb of Hannibal, which was rebuilt by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
