Etymology
scn la ar
A tautological toponym from the la la:mons ar:جَبَل 1, both meaning “mountain”. It is not clear if the first element derives directly from scn munti, from la mōns,montem or from another romance adstratum; in any case, the last syllable dropped unusually in favour of the palatalization with the second compound word.
