Following the passing of an act to rename cy Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru National Assembly for Wales to cy Senedd Cymru Welsh Parliament, the term cy Aelod Cynulliad Assembly Member was superseded by the term cy Aelod o'r Senedd Member of the Senedd.
Not to be confused with cy Aelod Seneddol Member of the (UK) Parliament.
The abbreviation cy AS is used for both cy Aelod o'r Senedd and cy Aelod Seneddol.
