jalo jaló
Finnish
Etymology
From fi jalo noble, fine; (dialectal) large, great. The first name could have been created (or revived) in the 19th century. However, judging from the surname (as well as fi Jalonen), it perhaps was also a pre-Christian personal name or nickname.
