eu :der<unc> -men outcome suffix 1
Most likely originated as a syncope of eu -tamen, occuring when eu -men was affixed to a verbal noun ending in eu -te instead of a short form of a verb. Later reinterpreted as a separate suffix affixable to a short form.591
