xum
Etymology
xum. Poultney suggests the term may connect to xum 𐌇𐌖𐌋𐌄, in which case the scribe would have erroneously written the xum -l- as xum -i- via the omission of the cross-bar.236 Another proposal connects the term with xum 𐌇𐌖𐌛𐌉𐌄,626 Hudie though Poultney suggests that the loss of xum -rs- is difficult to explain according to this theory.
