The dialects of Bình Định and Phú Yên are colloquially called vi Nẩu/Nẫu (after vi nẩu, the third person pronoun characteristic of these provinces); these Nẫu dialects are sometimes grouped with above group (although they have far fewer Central features). The dialects of Khánh Hoà, Ninh Thuận, Bình Thuận are under-researched and often subsumed with the mainstream Southeastern dialects.
