Old High German goh p.416 of the Wirtembergisches Urkundenbuch they alledge this is a gloss of Waganasheim "Aginesheim, Egisheim 12. (vgl. Uuaganesheim)", apparently assuming it is V.(for villa)Aganesheim. The other urkundenbuchs covering the 8th. and 9th C. say Vaganesheim as well.
