Etymology
en inc-hnd - (through en hi अख़्तर / en ur اَخْتَر) and/or directly from en fa-cls اَخْتَر star, in turn from en pal 𐭠𐭧𐭲𐭫 ʾhtl axtar Phlv, an ancient backformation from pal 𐭠𐭯𐭠𐭧𐭲𐭫 ʾpʾhtl abāxtar Phlv planet, due to a mistaken folk etymology that the first element ab- was a negative suffix, since Zoroastrianism considers the planets to be nefarious "un-stars" due to their astronomically odd behavior.AXTAR Eilers W.
