Etymology
Named after a watercourse located to the east of nl Tholen, derived from a compound of nl dum heen sea clubrush, Bulboschoenus maritimus and nl -drecht ferry, watercourse. The initial H- was gradually lost, and the hydronym was reinterpreted to nl eendracht concord.
