Etymology
tr ota نوشهر nevşehir, a tr gkm Νεάπολις 1; equivalent to tr nev new şehir city. Around 1720, the Grand Vizier Nevşehirli Damat Ibrahim Pasha re-founded and developed the city, changing its name from the previous one tr Muşkara.
