LWSS

English Noun s es en cellular automata en lightweight spaceship. en 1992-08-13 David Bell Spaceships in Conway's Life (Part 1) comp.theory.cell-automata https://groups.google.com/g/comp.theory.cell-automata/c/SOb5nnMpiQQ/m/rPxxXs1bJL4J For example, two gliders can produce another glider, and three gliders can produce a LWSS or MWSS or a HWSS. en 1992-08-23 Albert Schnezer Programming Life in Tpascal comp.theory.cell-automata https://groups.google.com/g/comp.theory.cell-automata/c/_WoCj4s9fl8/m/sbaU6Cmwm6kJ the simple "gliders" work perfectly fine, but the LWSS spaceship works great until the 15th generation when a singular pixel gets misplaced and the entire structure collapses. en 1994-12-07 Paul Callahan Program to search for collisions in Conway's Life (C code) comp.theory.cell-automata https://groups.google.com/g/comp.theory.cell-automata/c/4fhEBpWYtJA/m/YX9T793GaTgJ It begins with the period-20 spaceship that consists of a p20 puffer stabilized by a third lwss; this is the basis for the standard p20 forward and backward rakes.
