agartha
English
Etymology
Uncertain. Original spelling was Asgartha, making it probably a corruption of en non Ásgarðr, with the final a added to give a "feel" of Sanskrit-ness.
Proper noun
A legendary city said to be located in the Earth's core.

What are you talking about?” and sent me a GIF of a character from the cartoon Bob’s Burgers, suggesting I was grasping at straws. https://web.archive.org/web/20260612220459/https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/2026/01/agartha-memes-youth-internet-nazi/685718/ 12 June 2026
