fi Martti Martin Martin's laakso valley gen. Named after the nearby village of fi Martinkylä Martin's village (in what is now called fi Vantaanlaakso); this name in turn is probably from a farm name. The fi laakso valley refers to the place's location in a 'valley' between three hills.
