paige
English
Etymology
Variant of en Page, from en page, from en fro page, possibly via en roa-oit paggio, from en la-lat pagius servant, probably from en grc παιδίον boy, lad, from grc παῖς child; some sources consider this unlikely and suggest instead en la pagus countryside, in sense of "boy from the rural regions".
