Usage notes
Used to refer to suku Kutai Kutai people id and other immigrant ethnic groups alike. Nowadays, it is only preserved on the names of villages Long Beleh Haloq in Kembang Janggut (Kutai Kartanegara Regency), and Marah Haloq in Telen (East Kutai Regency). The former place name, is used to distinguish from the neighbouring village of Long Beleh Modang.
