Etymology
fi Asko la toponym, originally a farm name. According to SPNK, the town in Uusimaa was originally named fi Askula (from a variant of fi Asku of fi Asko), and the shift from -u- to -o- was influenced by fi Asko as well as inconsistent spelling of the vowel by scribes.
