Usage notes
Suurbritannia is the commonly used name of the country in Estonian texts, although it is not exact (it leaves out Northern Ireland). In official contexts, the full name of the country, Suurbritannia ja Põhja-Iiri Ühendkuningriik (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), or its short equivalent, Ühendkuningriik (ÜK), should be preferred. The use of the name Inglismaa is conceivable in a historical or informal context.
