Etymology
ifk Balawih is a disgraceful man who disappeared from a long time who was later on found by a hunter living a simple life. After the death of Balawih, many people flock to that area due to its fertile soil for farming. Their place was later on called then as "Balawih" in memory of the disgraceful man. The name "Balawih" was changed to "Balawis" after a school was established in the area.
