Turkish
Etymology
A modern neo-Circassian name reflecting Turkish influence. The first element is the Circassian root ady джан sharp, great and the second is the Turkish word tr berk strong, solid. It is possibly an attempt to Circassianize the Turkic name tr Canberk (historically associated with Janibek Khan, who established the Kazakh Khanate during the disintegration of the Golden Horde), or it may be an allusion to the traditional Circassian name ady Джанбэч (Janbech). It is particularly common among people of Circassian and Nogai descent in Turkey.
Proper noun
tr male West Circassian, popular among Circassians and Nogais in Turkey
