Usage notes
In northern and central Germany, this word is uncommon outside the expression de in aller Frühe early in the morning, although even this is far less common than de am frühen Morgen / früh am Morgen. In said expression, the form de Frühe is significantly more frequent than apocopated de Früh. Otherwise, however, because of the southern nature of the word as such, the variant de Früh is quite common, and even predominant in the expression de in der Früh(e) in the morning.
