mt ar مُحَمَّد.
The inherited form would be mt Mħammed, which died out as a given name after the Rechristianisation of Malta, but was still attested as a surname up to the 15th century (then obviously borne by Christians). Even today it survives in the place name mt Tal-Imħammed.
