Usage notes
There is no attested unique name for Norway in Traveller Norwegian.
The common name for Norway and Denmark originates from the time of the Union. The differentiation between these two countries is only known from modern time and is poorly attested: Nårge for Norway is only known from Rolf Theil (2015), and is basycally a pronunciation spelling of nb Norge; the name Dankus for Denmark is only known from Wiedner (2017).
The other name of Norway, Lallarotemmen, means basycally "the Finnish land", and may also refer to Lapland and Finland. It may originate among this part of the Swedish Travellers, who regularly visited Finnmark by foot, and therefore had no distinction between Norway and Finnmark, and later this name was adopted among Norwegian Travellers. See Swedish rmu Lalarotämen Norway.
