Almost Christmas (film)

Almost Christmas is a 2016 Christmas comedy-drama film about a recently widowed patriarch, Walter Meyers, who invites his four grown, highly opinionated children home for the holidays. The family's single request is to spend five days under one roof without arguing—a task that proves to be a true Christmas miracle. Written and Directed by David E. Talbert. Dialogue Niya: Like Brandon, my boyfriend. Rachel: I'm sorry. You have a boyfriend? Niya: Mom, stay focused. I don't like carrying my bag all the time. So when Brandon's around, I act like it hurts my shoulder and he carries it for me. He gets to be a hero, and I don't have to carry my bag. Rachel: When did you get a boyfriend? Niya: Focus, Mom. Trust me. Life's a whole lot easier when there's someone to help carry the load. Even if you can carry it yourself. Rachel: Is this Grandmaster Munchie Mega Mellow Mix, volume seven? Malachi: It's Mega Mellow Mix, volume eight... The one I made just for you. Rachel: That was a good mix tape. Malachi: It was.
