And when the opponent seems superior to us, we make it as difficult as possible for them so that we draw. We have to stay in that mentality. This match comes right after the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, during which we didn’t have much time to talk. We need to make the most of all the FIFA international breaks for our team’s development. Friendly matches are also an opportunity to test new players. This match is perfectly timed. You know, when you’re in a final tournament, you’re not just thinking about football; you’re also thinking about other things like making demands, and it’s difficult to play good football. We’re going to talk and say everything face to face, there are no taboos. But if a player is frustrated because he’s not playing, there’s no problem. But generally, it’s not me who puts the players on the field. They put themselves on the field. Florent Ibenge: "We play matches to win them", March 03 2017 We are calm. We are preparing for the match as usual, without putting too much pressure on ourselves, so we can relax and save all our energy for Sunday’s match.
