Quotes
too many dynamics that people didn't understand.
I'm doing a few things, outside of football as well, in business I'm into mining, and also trying to get my coaching badges at the moment,
I want to start my own academy one day, but focussing on the little ones – I want to throw a ball at them from the age of six or seven, I think thta's what we're missing right now in our football and I'm very big on development.
And I think that will just maybe try and cover that loophole for the future generation – we have PSL players that make their debut at like 24, which is very late
In Europe, when you're 15 or 16, you're gone, and I think I can try make that change, and I think a step in that direction can make it possible for the next village child as well.
I want to go countrywide, but the first one will definitely be in Polokwane because I've already been granted land, so there's a lot happening and that's why I also fell off the radar a bit,
I've been travelling a lot, working, and I'm busy with an architect right now to try and build a sports complex in the village, but it's right on the main road.
It's a sports complex with a stadium, with a lot of other sporting codes inside – even swimming being one of them, and in Magaeng it very hot there, so I think it would be nice for the village kids to know how to swim and everyone knows the safety measures are all ticked off.

It's true [having a dispute with Kruger United]. As part of SAFPU and representing the players in the league, I also need to stand up for them
Some of these boys don't want to speak up when the teams owe them money, or they need to get paid.
So I took it upon myself to raise these issues; it's been happening in our country and in the NFD as well.
The guys down there don't earn as much, and you can imagine if a boy goes a month or two without getting paid, what happens.
I'm saying boys because these are younger guys in the NFD.
I also started there as a teenager, now I finished my career in that league, and this problem is still there, and it's becoming more and more popular. And I just want more players to speak up so that SAFPU can handle whatever that is there with the clubs and representatives.
After the end of a successful career: George Maluleka opens up about his problems with Kruger United!, November 2025, Yahoo Sport, by foot Africa
I think it all goes back to hard work.
I've been working hard in all my life.
I always wanted to be successful, in all the aspects of life, and I think I applied myself very well to be able to be where I am today, not only in football but in life as well.
Through God's grace, hard work, determination, discipline and luck as well, I was able to reach the milestone that I've reached in my professional career.
Age is not a factor. Players should be judged on what they can bring on the field.
It is better to judge someone on his performance. In Europe, we see players still playing despite their (advanced) age because they are judged on what they can bring on the table and not their age.
Having said that, I won't say I will play until the age of 40 like some of the legends we've had, but I feel like I still have a lot to offer.
It is not every player who gets an opportunity to play for that club and when you sign for Chiefs, you must know that you are blessed.
When you enter at the Village, you must know that that is the biggest club in Africa and must know what is expected from you
But fortunately, I am somebody with a strong heart and understand how supporters feel sometimes.
But looking back at my time at Sundowns, I don't want to lie, I was happy there.
Despite at some stage not playing, like at all the clubs that I represented, I had the best time of my life.
I showed my qualities and my capabilities whenever I was called to do duty for the club
It is every player's dream to represent his country at national level and I feel disappointed that I did not get enough caps, despite my achievements at club level.
I feel bad that I missed out on the squad that represented us at World Cup level, something that I would have loved.
