Quotes
For a long time, and still so very often, men in tune with their feminine side have been used as accessories or “token gays” to a lot of cisgender women for personal gains, whether through slang or beauty edifications. I think we have to do better. I’m so thankful to play Miss Bruce and see the evolution, as well who I’ve become as Miss Lawrence. You can create yourself to be whatever it is you want to be. There are no boundaries. Through that, I honored it 100 percent in terms of my skill set. I made sure that I perfected it and taught those after me. I gained a very popular clientele. I always very fashion-flexible. I borrowed in makeup and always caught the eye of somebody.
