Hans Christian Andersen's The Emperor's New Clothes is a 1972 animated television special by Rankin/Bass that was originally a pilot for the canceled show, The Enchanted World of Danny Kaye. Marmaduke Oh, to think that I should sink as low as Bibbentucker. I, who once swindled all of London town. I simply cannot face Bibbentucker. I'd sooner become honest. Yes, nothing is prettier, or wiser or wittier, or brings lovelier dreams when I'm sleepy, than my comrades afloat in this splendid old moat, lovely creatures all crawly and creepy.
