Aurora James (born on July 12, 1984) is a Canadian fashion designer and businesswoman. Every dollar we receive goes toward our programming and to supporting small businesses in America. I know the power of small business, and when we support all small businesses across this country, it makes for a stronger America. We’ve had some really great success with accelerator programs over the past six years, because it’s not just about a one-time thing. It's about bringing together a group of highly talented in-house executives at larger businesses to work closely with smaller, founder-led businesses of color and helping them grow over an extended period, giving them access to resources they otherwise wouldn't have. Body positivity has to incorporate all races, and all lived experiences, you know. I think body positivity, in and of itself, is under attack in a lot of different ways as well, including how we see ourselves, especially as those who identify as women. Victoria's Secret has historically been at the forefront of how a lot of people in America view and understand beauty, and so they are helping to shepherd a new class of founders that have a different viewpoint on what it can mean to be beautiful, sexy, and desirable to yourself.
