thumb|Catherine Spaak in the movie Il sorpasso (1962) Catherine Spaak (3 April 1945 – 17 April 2022) was a French-Italian actress, singer, model, and media personality. Quoted in Stefano Reggiani, Tutte suore, per il "set", La Stampa, 14 August 1973. Interviews Renato Franco, Spaak, 70 anni senza rimpianti: "Una vita così non l’ho mai avuta", Corriere.it, 2 April 2015 Some films turn out well; others, not so much. There are no mistakes; there are happy coincidences, luck. And then there was her elegance and class, as well as the fact that she was also a truly great actress. In the 1960s people thought I was scandalous because I was living on my own at the age of 18. My daughter was taken away from me because the judge wrote that, as I was an actress, I was of dubious morality. Those were tough years for women.
