Paul Ngobeni

Paul Mpande Ngobeni (born 1 September 1960) is a South African lawyer who qualified and practised in the United States until 2005. Ngobeni litigated many published cases, including the Ocwen class action which was settled out of court for an undisclosed sum. However, in 2005, Ngobeni was suspended from practice in Connecticut after 17 counts of misconduct involving 16 clients were brought against him. Ngobeni was initially disbarred but the judgment was reopened and he was later allowed to resign. Ngobeni was then disbarred in Massachusetts on the basis of reciprocal discipline.
